The Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center was established in 2007 by Kiourktzian Mari, specializing exclusively in musculoskeletal-orthopedic problems, sports injuries and autoimmune diseases.
Providing an organized and fully-equipped rehabilitation gym, we execute the physiotherapeutic approach through movement and quick recovery of the patient, similarly to all advanced countries of Europe and USA.
The perfectly equipped center includes therapeutic devices, e.g LASER, ULTRASOUNDS, DECOMPRESSION BED, HYDROTHERAPY, TECAR THERAPY, MAGNETIC STIMULATOR THERAPY, LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE BOOTS, BIOFEEDBACK etc. Targeted approach of the patient’s problem achieves the reduction of inflammation and restriction of pain.
Our laboratory hosts a pain cabinet, where the patient may reduce the acute phase of inflammation and get rid of painful syndromes with natural means and alternative therapies.
Our team is well trained and educated, always willing to help you obtain the quality of life we all deserve, released from pain, keeping very close to the movement physiology.
RESUME
Mari Kiourktzian graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy, Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, in 2001. Her excitement and enthusiasm to study this science motivated constant training and expertise up to present. She has attended numerous training seminars (Manual Therapy - Mulligan - Trigger Point Therapy - Dry Needling - Kinesio Tape – Neural mobilization - Myofascial Release) on her expertise: orthopedic disorders, sports injuries and autoimmune diseases using mobilization techniques and therapeutic exercises.
Thanks to her 7-year collaboration with private center for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and sports injuries, well known and famous in Northern Greece, she obtained specialized education and experience in this specific field.
Her participation in the 2004 Olympic Games, in the quality of physiotherapist in volley players, in cooperation with sports teams, provided the required experience for the efficient and quick treatment of sports and other injuries.
Since 2019 Κiourktzian Mari has been awarded with the qualification of SCHROTH Method therapist, specializing on exercise programs aiming at the three-dimensional correction of scoliosis, certified by Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPT) of Spain.
The Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center, founded in 2007 and offering services for 18 years, is perfectly specialized in orthopedic disorders and autoimmune diseases, rendering individualized services for the patient. In an attempt to approach diseases that cannot be treated with the classic therapeutic methods, she was specialized in Auricular Acupuncture for Physiotherapists (an alternative, noninvasive treatment technique with high success rates and no drug administration).

Our 120sq.m center is easily accessible, since the entrance has no stairs and access is offered to people with mobility impairments.
